Hope Dawning
Our Mission
To introduce and connect bereaved mothers in the local community to the area's faith-based healing resources through outreach and camaraderie-building events.

We are already working on the ninth annual Mothers' Event scheduled for May 3, 2025!
STAY TUNED!

Let us know if you would like to be added to our mailing roster or if you know of a newly bereaved mother who would benefit from the
Hope Dawning ministry.  Simply email susanmorrison1@sbcglobal.net

Did you attend the eighth annual Mothers' Event this past April? Or October's Day of Reflection at the Dallas Arboretum?  Perhaps you met us for the first time at November's "Preparing for the Holidays" ?
If so, would you like to stay connected with other mothers in your community?

We enourage you to be involved in a small group. Groups are generally organized geographically, by established relationships or by special circumstances surrounding your child (such as loss at infancy, loss due to suicide or the leaving behind of bereaved grandchildren).
Groups are not highly time-intensive, meeting approximately 2-4 times a year.  Simply contact us in the provided email below and someone from our intake team with contact you soon.

If you, or someone you know, are new to Hope Dawning and live in the Lake Ray Hubbard community or surrounding areas, please email susanmorrison1@sbcglobal.net for more information and to be added to our mailing list.

About Us
We know the wide range of challenges and emotions child loss has brought into your life. There is comfort to be found from those who have suffered, yet move forward, through similar grief journeys.  Please come alongside other bereaved mothers who understand.  Who just "get it". Who care very much about your healing and hope.

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope." - I Thessalonians 4:13
